Meet Our Team

Dinesh is a graduate of Tribuban University. He has more than 30 years of experience in language and cross-cultural instruction. He has taught many expatriates and volunteers worked with several INGOs like United Mission To Nepal (UMN), International Nepal Fellowship (INF), PLAN International, SNV, Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO), Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), Schools Partnership Worldwide (SPW) in Nepal. He also worked as a programme coordinator for Miami University Nepal experience programme for several years. Dinesh worked as a head of Language and Orientation Training Department in International Nepal Fellowship (International Christian organization working in Nepal) for eight years. He has developed and conducted many initial and on-going language teachers’ training courses. He has many years of experience in conducting cross-cultural orientation training for expatriates working and living in Nepal. He has written language course books (i) Introductory Nepali Course (ii) Nepali – A Beginner’s Course for teaching Nepali language to foreigners. He attended summer programmes (Language Teacher’s workshop) at the University of Minnesota, USA on (i) Second Language Acquisition (ii) Strategies Based Instruction (iii) Maximizing Study Abroad. Dinesh is the Director of CLCT.

Rekha holds M. Sc. Rekha has been working as a Nepali language instructor for the United Mission to Nepal (UMN), International Nepal Fellowship (INF), Voluntary Services Overseas Nepal (VSON), Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), SAHAS Nepal and JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) for the last 28 years. She has written Nepali language course books for teaching Nepali language to foreigners. She has been working as a Programme Coordinator with CLCT since July 2007.

Nisha has completed bachelor’s in business studies from Tribhuwan University. She has been working as a Language Instructor for many short term and long term expatriate’s volunteers from various organizations working in Nepal for the last eight years. Nisha is a very creative and dedicated teacher.

Prabha holds bachelor’s degree from Tribhuwan University. She started her career in teaching Nepali language from American Peace Corps back in 1985. After that, she worked as a language instructor for many international organization such as United Mission to Nepal (UMN), MS Nepal, CAS Nepal, KOICA, Kathmandu International Study Center (KISC), Fulbright Commission (USEF) etc.

Mahesh has completed MBA from Tribhuwan University. He has been working as a Language Instructor for many short term and long term expatriates volunteers from various organizations working in Nepal for the last five years. All his students like him very much.
